All about love
As with every young teen suffering the effects of rejection from her first puppy love,
it was total devastation. Very dramatically influenced by a reading of Romeo and Juliet,
the following emotions were put to paper.
Thankfully, as with most young mine healed quickly.
And so began the early love poems , the expressions of disappointment.
As one slowly matured,
these occurances took on a different dimension, a different comprehension.
Definition Of Love
Love is like a rose
Watch the way it grows.
See the way it blossoms slowly
till you are his one and only.
Love soon blooms out.
The lover cries.
Like the rose,
Love all too quickly dies.
There can be no fulfillment in a relationship when one half of the pair
is ultra possive and demanding.
In order to grow & be lasting
love has to be equally shared and freely given.
A web of horror, web of terror
doth the evil spider weave.
It shines and glows so beautifully.
It draws you in, it does deceive.
It wraps you in a gentle mist
so strong you cannot get away.
The evil spider once again
has made a prisoner of the prey.
So too is love an evil spider,
spinning a web of extacy
that like the spiders prey,
foolish lovers never see.
Enmeshed, entangled, unable to go
until it's too late to get away.
Unable to breathe, unable to grow
wrapped in a web like spiders prey.
When true love finally comes your way
Sensuous are the feelings of the day.
Your fingers touching mine
your eyes magnetic pools
drawing ever near
breaking all the rules.
Jump into the fire.
Burning in the heat,
feel the hot tears flow
feel desire grow
taste temptation sweet.
The lovers kiss.
Their bodies meet
in heat of passion
dissolving in delight.
Attaining heights of extacy
Loves flame burns bright.
Reaching to each other
two as one in sweet release
melt into the night,
closely clasping fleeting moments
of fulfillment, hold each other tight.
As one matures, one sees many sides of love.
Love can be a fleeting moment
The flutter of your heart
at the sight of things
like butterfly wings
gracefully sailing into a summer sunset
beneath a rainbow stretched across the sky.
For a fleeting moment love has touched your soul
and made you fly.
The years of struggle
of a man and wife
who have pledged their troth
and shared their life
through good times and bad
through times when they were joyful
or were sad.
Looking back at all the years gone by
and forward to years yet to be
They are bound by love
