Kind, loving, tolerant, giving.
A wonderful unique human being.
It is an honor and privilege to be his daughter.
I will try to follow in his footsteps and live with the ideals he taught me.
It will not be easy. He was one heck of a role model.

My Dearest Daddy,
I will not mourn, I will not cry.
We'll never have to say goodbye.
We'll never ever be apart.
You live forever in my heart.
We do not bury my dad here today.
We bury the empty shell that housed him in his earthly life.
HE IS HERE--AND HERE-- AND HERE.
He is in the heart of each and every one of you who love him.
He is the whisper of the breeze.
Its soft touch as it rushes against your face.
He is the glow of the morning sun,
the song of the smallest bird,
the moonshine in the darkest night,
the sparkle of every star.
When we have a dark and cloudy day,
it is his reminder that it is up to us
to chase away the clouds ,
to uncover every silver lining,
TO SMILE as he has always done
to make life bright again.

Nothing that I write could express my feelings more clearly than the beautiful song below.
"Somewhere Out There "written by James Horner, Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil.
Somewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me
And loving me tonight
Somewhere out there
Someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another
In that big somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing
On the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
If helps to think we're sleeping
Underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we'll be together
Somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
When tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.
