Roosters chickens and chicks
One of my neighbors had to move. She could only take half her chickens with her. I got the most wonderful large fresh brown eggs from her. I had expressed an interest in having a small flock of chickens for my own eggs. when she asked me if I wanted those she could not take (due to a lack of space)
I said yes !!! I was thrilled to have them and so began my small flock and a whole new experience. I have since added 6 new girls to the flock. I never imagined one could get so attached to chickens but each is a special individual with his or her own personality. There are 14 all together with the 3 babies and I love them all.
Following are pictures of most of them. The babies are already at 11 weeks of age almost grown

Many are so big that the box tops won't close and they taste sooooo good.
