Poems to ponder
The old year went, a new year came
never again to be the same.
The old year changed and so did I.
A new soul born to live and die.

A Beauty of contrast
The city in it's ugliness has it's own special beauty.
Look and you will find it.
Dingy buildings against a bright blue sky.
The flexibility and constant change of soft clouds
as they float by tall rigid skyscrapers.
Clean white snow in the park.
on rooftops and terraces above dirty streets.
A myriad of shimmering lights
reflecting the many colors of skin,
smiles, tears, hopes, fears,
songs and dreams which are
the heartbeat of the city.
A beautiful blending of humanity.

VISUALIZE,THINK,CONSIDER
VISUALIZE THE INFANT EARTH..
RIVERS AND OCEANS CLEAR.
FLORA, FISH, CRUSTACEANS
HEALTHILY LIVING HERE.
PICTURE PUFFY CLOUDS OF WHITE
LAZILY FLOATING BY.
ARRANGEMENTS OF PURE FANTASY
IN A DEEP BLUE SKY.
THINK FORESTS, DESERTS, MOUNTAINS, PLAINS
UNSPOILED BY THE HUMAN HAND.
IMAGINE ALL GODS CREATURES
WITH ROOM TO ROAM THE LAND.
CONSIDER TODAY-SMOGGY CLOUDS OF GRAY
POLLUTED WATER, CHILDREN CRYING,
ACID RAIN, UNBREATHABLE AIR,
MUTATED CREATURES DYING!
RETURN TO THE TIME OF EARTH IN IT'S PRIME.
HALT THIS HORRENDOUS TEMPTATION OF FATE.
VISUALIZE, PICTURE, THINK, IMAGINE
CONSIDER BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
